On the same day, the Inasis Proton’s team visited the prestigious Sejong University for the opening ceremony as well as the visit to some of the facilities in the university. The team was received by the program coordinators in charge of international students (South-East Asia), in person of Ms Yoon and her colleague, Ms Kumari, who received the team with joy. The opening speech was given by Ms Yoon, who briefed the team of the history of Sejong University and explained that the visit is very necessary to ensure the smooth relationship between Sejong University and University Utara Malaysia. Also, in his remark, the team’s leader, Dr. Mohammad Ghozali Bin Hassan, said that the universities stand a chance to benefit a lot in view of the memorandum of understating (MOU) that they signed few years ago. He is of the view that student mobility program is a program that aims at developing students socially, morally, politically, psychologically, culturally and physically. He advised Sejong University to allow their students to visit UUM either on exchange program or to attend full-time courses in the university.

In her own speech, the director of Inasis Proton Outbound Program, Miss Arifah Amalia Binti Aswadi, while delivering her speech, spoke on the importance of the program of this magnitude. She opined that the purpose of their visit to Sejong University is to let students have exposure, which will help them in their future endeavors. After the director’s speech, souvenirs were given to the officials of Sejong University.

In order to further explore the university, the Inasis Proton’s Team toured the facilities in the campus. The places visited includes library, music department, gymnastic room, student hostels, restaurant, university elementary school, etc, The pictures of the events are displayed below.
